Cooper Strike - Autistic OC

Appearance: Cooper Strike is very tall and thin. His brown hair is always perfect (to his liking) and he has almond shaped, bright green eyes. He wears lots of sweaters and baggy jeans. He will only wear one brand of shoes which are converse and they must be black, or else he won't wear them. He has freckles that are darted across his nose and his lips are very full. 

Personality: Being Autistic plays a huge part in Cooper's personality. He easily gets irritated and he will copy tones or repeat things he's heard other places. He is extremely smart when it comes to reading and writing. When he gets upset he will scream or have outburst because he's so frustrated that he can't get out what he wants to say. Sometimes he'll get so anxious that he'll bite all of his finger nails until they bleed. For the most part though, he can still do a lot of basic things. He picks out outfits and makes his own meals. He does prefer to be alone as well. His very stubborn and when he has his mind set on something, he's determined to follow through with it.

History: Cooper was born and raised in Nebraska and lived with his mother and his sister, Demetria. Demi and Cooper's father left when Cooper was 3, leaving his mother to take care of two small children herself. Cooper has always stayed in his own bubble, really not being able to express how upset he was about his father abandoning them but he remembers perfectly, he doesn't forget a thing. When Cooper was 5, like all the other kids he went to Kindergarten and absolutely hated it and continued to hate school. He was in a special program but he still yelled at the teachers and other students when he was frustrated. He always wanted to be home with his mom and little sister. When he was 10, his mom met another man (who he's never liked) and they got married when he was 12. Though his step-father, Paul, was nice to him - he still didn't really care for him. He doesn't comprehend why this man was allowed to move into their life and change things up such as their move to a new house and how he had to say goodbye to all of his teachers. Now at 16, he looks forward to coming home with Demi and listening to music or watching a movie. He always loves musicals.

Etc: Cooper loves to sing songs with his younger sister, Demetria. But since he's autistic it does seem like she's older sometimes. She's only a year younger than he is but she helps take care of him and spends a lot of time with Cooper. Demi will sing to him when he's aggravated or they just do it for fun. Demi's taste in music has a large influence on Cooper. Sometimes Cooper will hang out with her and her friends, only until he get's irritated by them and leaves to do his own thing. He loves to draw and he'll read 700 page books in 2 days. Sometimes he has to be reminded to take breaks and go to the bathroom or get something to eat. Cooper can be very happy and will laugh and laugh, never explaining why but his smile always lights up a room.
